The January transfer window is fast approaching, and Real Madrid are reportedly exploring options to bolster their squad. Amidst their ongoing injury troubles, the Spanish giants have identified Hugo Larsson as a potential target, according to Madrid Universal.
Larsson, 20, has been impressing in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt. The Danish midfielder has already racked up over 50 competitive appearances for the German club, showcasing his all-round skills and potential for growth.
According to a report from Patrick Berger, Real Madrid have been monitoring Larsson's progress at Frankfurt. In fact, Los Blancos were tracking the player even before his move to Frankfurt in 2023. However, they are not alone in their pursuit, as Manchester United and other European giants are also reportedly interested in the youngster.

With a contract until 2029, Eintracht Frankfurt hold significant leverage in any potential transfer negotiations. As a result, Berger expects the German club to demand a fee of at least €50 million for Larsson's services. This significant price tag makes an immediate move for the midfielder highly unlikely, not only for Real Madrid but also for other interested clubs.
Real Madrid's interest in Hugo Larsson highlights their desire to strengthen their squad amid injury concerns. However, with significant competition for the midfielder's signature and a hefty price tag, any potential transfer remains uncertain.
