Manchester United's struggles in front of goal have been a major concern this season, with the team managing a mere 13 goals in 12 Premier League games. In a bid to address this issue, the club has reportedly identified Victor Osimhen as a potential target.

Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in impressive form, scoring eight goals and providing three assists in just 10 games. His ability to be decisive in the opposition box has caught the attention of Manchester United's scouts.

According to Florian Plettenberg and Luca Sixtus of Sky Sports Germany, Osimhen is one of four strikers on Manchester United's transfer shortlist, alongside Randal Kolo Muani, Omar Marmoush, and Victor Boniface.

Signing Osimhen would likely come at a significant cost, with the Nigerian international having a €75 million release clause that takes effect in January 2025. However, given Manchester United's struggles in front of goal, the investment could be justified.

Manchester United's pursuit of Victor Osimhen highlights the club's desire to address their striking woes. With Osimhen's impressive form and ability to be decisive in the opposition box, he could be an excellent addition to the team.
