Kaduna State has been recognized as the best-performing state in primary healthcare delivery in the North West, underscoring Governor Uba Sani's strong commitment to transforming the health sector. The state received an international award and a cash prize of $500,000 at a gala night organized by the Nigerian Governors' Forum, according to Punch Newspaper.
