Real Madrid has identified Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot as a prime target for the 2025 transfer window. According to GIVEMESPORT, the Spanish giants have been tracking Dalot since January 2024 and have already made initial contact.
Dalot, 25, signed a new five-year contract with Manchester United in May 2023, committing him to the club until 2028. However, Real Madrid believes an offer in the region of £45 million could tempt the Red Devils to sell. Manchester United, however, insists Dalot is not for sale.
Real Madrid's interest in Dalot is driven by their need for a long-term successor to Dani Carvajal, who is currently sidelined with a serious knee injury. Dalot's leadership, versatility, and ability to play at left-back have all been highlighted as key attractions in recruitment meetings.
While Manchester United is adamant that Dalot will not be leaving, Real Madrid remains hopeful that a significant offer could change their minds. The Spanish giants are also considering other options, including Trent Alexander-Arnold, who could be available on a free transfer in the summer of 2025.
Real Madrid's pursuit of Diogo Dalot highlights their desire to strengthen their defense with a top-class right-back. While Manchester United is reluctant to sell, the Spanish giants are prepared to wait and may consider other options in the meantime.
