Neymar is set to make a sentimental return to Santos, the club where he began his professional career, and will wear the iconic #10 shirt made famous by Brazilian legend Pelé.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Neymar will don the revered jersey as a tribute to Pelé, widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time.
The 32-year-old forward's return to Santos comes after Al Hilal announced the termination of his contract on Monday. Neymar is expected to sign a six-month contract with the option of an additional year at Santos.
Neymar's homecoming marks a significant moment in his career, which has seen him play for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. He made his professional debut with Santos in 2009 and led the club to a Copa Libertadores triumph in 2011.
